Should I Sell My Blog

Of course, the first logical question is this – should I sell my own blog. I’ll try to explain you below why you should and shouldn’t sell your blog over the internet.

Why to Sell a Blog?

Well, most bloggers decide to sell their own blog because of multiple reasons:
  • Need Money Quickly – A lot of bloggers need money quickly for their own future projects or even for the personal life. I think this is the primary reason why someone sell own blog on the internet – quick cash!
  • Lack of the Time – Second reason is for sure the lack of time to maintain and organize a blog. Most of them doesn’t have a time to properly post (on the regular basis) on their own blogs and that’s why they’re going to sell them.
Of course, there’re so many other reasons. Above reasons are the most presented on the internet among the bloggers which are going to sell their blogs.

Why you Should NOT Sell a Blog?

To be honest, I don’t agree with anyone to sell their blogs, specially if they’re managed to get some revenue from it. Specially if they earn much to cover all domain and hosting expenses.
  • Constant Income – If you’re managed to get from your blog revenue enough to cover all your domain and hosting expenses, I really don’t see the reason why are you wanted to sell your blog.
  • Blogging is a hobby – For most bloggers blogging is a hobby. They don’t need to post every single day to make a blog successful. You should post anytime you can and want – and that’s a beauty of it.
  • You’ll earn it – You won’t sell your blog for a millions of dollars. Blog value is a very close to your several-months revenue potential. It’s always better to wait some time and save some money if you’re need it.
I’m strongly against these which decide to sell their own blogs or a websites, specially if they have so much potential. I’ve seen so many sites over the internet which are sold underpriced.
Find out how to determine your Blog value on the internet!

How to Sell Your Blog

Once you know you want to sell and have an idea how much you would accept for it, the next step is to do a listing or the way you’re going to attract potential customers to buy your blog. In most cases, you should provide the following information about a blog you’re going to sell:
  • Blog URL and Name – Of course, you won’t make a sale if you’re not going to show your customers what actually you’re trying to selling to them.
  • Blog Life – Tell them when you’ve started to blog on that blog and how much posts you have in the database.
  • Description – Here you should write down an unique and quality description of your blog. Making all necessary information about your blog niche, competition and all other stuffs provided.
  • Monthly Revenue – Give your potential customers prove of your monthly revenue through the advertisement networks or/and affiliate programs on the internet for that blog.
  • Hosting and Domain – You should tell your potential customers how much they’re going to spend monthly/annually on your hosting or domain name expenses.
  • Blog Stats – Provide them an average monthly unique visitors and page views. This can strongly affect your blog value at the end. Everyone likes to buy and pay for the well-trafficked sites.
  • Link Juice – Also show them the information about your blog on the main search engines. Specially be concentrated to the Google and Yahoo! search engine. Display inbound links number and indexed pages number.
Most of the places allows you to make an auction of your offer. Think about the “Buy Now” price of your blog. It should be from 2 to 5 times higher than your beginning price.
Also, you should provide a support for your blog to the potential buyer. This is specially useful and good marketing-trick that can force a potential buyer to purchase your own blog instead another.

Where to Sell a Blog

If you’re decided to sell a blog, you’ve a few effective places where you can get a potential customers for it.
  • Digital Point Marketplace – There you’ll find many websites and services users wants to sell out. Submission is free and require you to have a free Digital Point account.
  • Flippa aka. Sitepoint Marketplace – This is a service specialized only into website sales and transactions. Very nice and easy user interface with all necessary information. Basic listing fee is $19.00 per listing.
  • eBay Listings – Yes, you can sell or buy your website or a blog on the eBay too. It’s also a good way to find some good and quality sites others are trying to sell.
These are the most popular services where you should sell your website or a blog. Submitting your offer on these sites can attract more good and quality potential visitors than with any other service on the internet.

Final Thoughts

I hope that I’ve help you out to know exactly how and where you’re going to sell your blog. Blog sale can be exciting and irritating too. You should keep in mind that a blog is worth only what someone willing to pay for it. Don’t get too-high price for your blog because you won’t get any results that way definitely.
You should note that all blogs don’t make a money. The final price can depend on many ways and aspects, not only the potential revenue blog can make.

Introduction:
2D Key is a method and system to create big and yet memorizable secret beyond the current prior art technologies using the single-line password/key input field at 128 bits to 256 bits or more. Multihash Key uses key strengthening (aka hash iteration) and hash truncation to create multiple unique slave keys from a master key for both the offline and online accounts. The slave key from bigger hash iteration round has stronger security than the slave key from smaller hash iteration round. Consequently, the security, usability generally and memorizability particularly, can be improved by the hybrid combination of 2D Key and Multihash Key. For more information, please refer to the manual of this software. For a list matching the hash round/iteration number with the offline/online accounts, download here.

For private key optimization of 192-bit Mobile ECC software, when this software is used together with 2D key input method, there is a memory optimization to minimize the memorizable size of private key. Firstly, a 128-bit 2D secret is created using 2D key to act as the token password in the 2-factor multimedia key method. Secondly, an at least 192-bit multimedia data file can be used as software token to be encrypted and stored in a USB flash drive as token ciphertext. The token password (i.e. 2D key secret) and token plaintext, after the optional processes of multihash key, can generate a secret to act as a 192-bit private key secret in the 192-bit Mobile ECC. Whenever there is a need, get the USB flash drive storing the token ciphertext, decrypt it using the token password (i.e. 2D key secret), and select the hash iteration of multihash key to create a slave key.
